Our trip out went right according to plan, 1,175 miles and 19 hours and no real weather drama. The photo below was taken as we were driving from Driggs, ID up Ski Hill Road to our condo. It looks like The Ghee is going to continue to deliver the goods.

There are so many reasons why we have settled in on GT but at the top of the list is the amazing amount of snow that they receive (500"+) on a yearly basis and the quality of snow (less than a 5% water content) also know as "Blower".

Prior to the trip all of the skis are tuned to our specifications and all of the bindings are adjusted to a default Ramp Zone #3; eliminating key variables that can otherwise affect the testing outcome.

Aside from celebrating a job well done by our staff, the trip enables everyone to test and experience 1st hand, skis designed for this type of terrain and conditions. The net result is that they can provide spot-on recommendations for our customers void of any manufacturers bias.

Tomorrow will be our first day on snow and from the looks of it our timing should be perfect!
