For the 5th straight year the entire Pierce staff is heading west to Grand Targhee Resort in Wyoming for our end-of-season ski testing trip.

Our trip recognizes a job well done by the finest staff in the skate & ski industry, while at the same time it enables all of us to reconnect with the sport of skiing; helping to remind us of why we do what we do.

This past January, Snowsports Industries of America recognized Pierce Skate and Ski as the North Central Regional Shop of the Year for a record 7th time!

Prepping skis for The Ghee!
We have received over 40 sets of test skis from all of our vendors. Every set is comprehensively tuned to our specifications for side edge bevel as well as base structure.

Another key variable addressed on all test skis is to make sure they are all at Ramp Zone 3.This is all done to control variables that can otherwise taint ski testing.

Three of us head out early Thursday to make sure everything is set up and ready for our crew who arrives on Sunday.
